Suspected Armed Robbers Kill 400-Level Female Student in Nasarawa

A student studying at the 400-level in the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), Nasarawa State, was killed in a robbery attack.

It has been reported that Habiba Ummi Lele, a student in the Department of Chemistry, was shot dead by armed robbers while she was returning to Lafia after attending her friend's graduation at the College of Health and Technology, Keffi.

The incident took place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, when the attackers opened fire on the vehicle she was traveling in, resulting in her immediate death.

The Executive Chairman of Awe Local Government Council, Hon.

He also prayed for strength, patience, comfort, and divine guidance for the bereaved family, the people of Kanje, and all those who loved her as they mourn this painful and irreversible loss.
