The Lagos State Police Command has announced that two men are now wanted in connection with the alleged murder of a woman in the Ikoyi area of the state.
This was revealed in separate bulletins released on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
The police stated that the suspects, identified as 32-year-old Folawiyo Alagbado and 33-year-old Ajibola Obateru, allegedly conspired with others to attack the victim, kill her, and take her body and personal items.
According to the bulletins, the suspects planned with others to attack the victim, allegedly kill her, and dispose of her body at an unknown location.
The police provided a description of Alagbado as follows: "Tribe: Yoruba, Age: 32, Height: Average, Face: Oval, Nose: Wide, Mouth: Long and Wide, Lips: Medium, Eye Colour: White, Complexion: Dark, Chin: Round, Hair: Normal, Forehead: Smooth, Clothing: Decent.
Last Known Address: Ibadan, Oyo State."
Obateru's description is: "Tribe: Yoruba, Age: 33, Height: 5.9ft, Build: Thin, Face: Oval, Nose: Long, Mouth: Small, Lips: Thin, Eye Colour: Black, Complexion: Fair, Chin: Pointed, Hair: Thick and Black, Head: High, Forehead: High, Mannerisms: Appears Gentle, Clothing: Decent.
Last Known Address: Ibadan, Oyo State."
The police have called on anyone with information regarding the suspects' whereabouts to come forward and report to the nearest police station or the Office of the Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, located at Musiliu Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.
