Three individuals have been confirmed deceased as a result of a tragic road accident in Kogi State.
The incident took place near the Ganaja Village Roundabout in Lokoja on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
Eyewitnesses reported that the victims were a baby, the driver transporting a deceased person's body, and another family member who was with the corpse.
All three were said to have died instantly when the vehicle carrying the body collided with a trailer.
The exact cause of the crash remains undetermined, and authorities are expected to begin an investigation into the incident.
