Islamic teacher accused of child sexual abuse in Niger State

The Gender Unit of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps( NSCDC), Niger State Command, has interposed in a reported case of alleged child s@xual abuse involving a schoolteacher at an Islamiyah academy located along the Captivity diggings in Tunga area of Minna.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Abubakar M.R. Muti, bared this in a statement on Monday, April 13, 2026.

The case was brought to the attention of the Command by the parents of the victim( name withheld), following a disturbing exposure made by the minor.
