Iran estimates damage from US-Israeli strikes at $270 billion

Damage from US- Israeli strikes against Iran is estimated at about$ 270 billion, the Iranian government spokesman said on Tuesday, April 14, citing primary assessments.

" One of the issues that our negotiating platoon is pursuing, and which was also pursued in the Islamabad addresses, is the issue of war restitutions," Fatemeh Mohajerani told Russia's RIA Novosti, according to Iran'ssemi-official Tasnim news agency.

The$ 270 billion figure is n't final, Mohajerani stressed, adding" Damages generally have to be examined in several layers."

The indigenous conflict escalated after the US and Israel launched common strikes against Iran on Feb. 28, killing and injuring thousands.
