Anambra State High Court sitting at Ogidi in Idemili Judicial Division and presided over by Justice Lauretta Oyeka has doomed one Chidubem Anawonwa to d3ath by hanging after condemning him of the m8rder of his 74- time-old mama , Theresa Anawonwa.
The con k!lled his mama in Umuokokpa Aborji vill Oba, Idemili South Original Government Area on 23rd April 2019, an offence negative to Section 271 of Criminal Code Cap. 36 Revised Laws of Anambra State, 1991 as amended.
In charge no. HID/ 7C/ 2020, the execution, led by a Chief State Counsel, Obiageli Nwankiti, and a star State Counsel, Uju Igboeli, presented the case, with substantiation revealing Chidubem's long history of violence against his mama , including physical abuse and d3ath pitfalls
It was gathered that on the said 23rd April 2019 while his youthful bastard was locked in a room at their home, Chidubem, aged 37 also, ultimately strangled his mama to d3ath after inflicting multiple bruises on her.
counting on testaments of five execution substantiations, the court dismissed ‘ defense of justification’ by Chidubem, who was represented on pro bono, and doomed him consequently.
