The Edo State government says it has removed 25 mentally crazed persons from the thoroughfares between January and September 2025 as part of its internal health support programme, and admitted six people battling medicine dependence into recuperation centres. publicizing the measures at a press conference in Benin City, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Eugenia Abdallah, said the state is also working with drivers and possessors of orphanages to ameliorate living conditions and care norms, has handed sanctum and recuperation for traded ladies, and is equipping women with income- boosting chops, including Compressed Natural Gas( CNG) vehicle conversion and electric- vehicle conservation.
