Five Nigerians Arrested for Alleged Prostitution in Libya

Libyan authorities have arrested five Nigerians over allegations of prostitution in the Salmani area of Benghazi.

According to a report by Migrant Rescue Watch on Tuesday, June 24, the suspects — one man and four women, including one with a child — were apprehended during a police raid on a house reportedly used by migrants for prostitution.

The operation, carried out by the Ras Abidah Police Department, followed complaints from members of the public. The arrested individuals have been handed over to the Directorate for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM) for further legal action.
