God Didn’t Create Man to Be a Lover but a Provider – Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has stirred conversation online with his opinion that men were not created to be lovers, but rather providers.

In a post shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Omokri argued that when a man fulfills his role as a provider—whether to his partner or his family—he is inherently expressing love through that provision.

He emphasized that while love is important, it is not enough to sustain a marriage on its own. According to him, material support and responsibility are critical components of a successful relationship.

"Men were not created to be lovers. They were created to be providers. And when they provide, they are showing love," Omokri wrote, sparking mixed reactions from social media users.
