We remove the money laundering charge against Bobrisky because it is within our power to amend charges– EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, through its representative, Bilikisu Buhari, has revealed why the money laundering allegations were dropped based on Bobrisky’s confessional statement on naira abuse in court, claiming it is within their power to amend charges.

Buhari made the revelation on Monday, while answering questions from the House of Representative Committee investigating Idris Okuneye a.k.a. Bobrisky.

According to her, "There was no form of financial inducement to any member of the commission. All we did was in line with the core values of the commission."

Adjourning the meeting sine die, the Chairman of the Committee, Ginger Onwusibe asked for the presence of the person who recorded the audio at their next seating of the committee.
