Three persons were reportedly killed when they attacked a church in the Bakinpah-Maro community of Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State on Sunday. The pastor of the church and many others were also kidnapped
Confirming the incident, the former chairman of Kajuru LGA, Cafra Caino said, “The terrorists, who arrived around 10:00am in large numbers, targeted the ECWA and Catholic church.Among those abducted is Bernard Gajera, a pastor from one of the churches.”
The community as part of efforts to attract more security personnel in the area, recently raised funds to build a security post for law enforcement agents.
The community was repeatedly attacked by the terrorists, forcing farmers to abandon their farms.
Meanwhile, the police have yet to comment on the incident.
