Bobrisky reveals contemplating suicidal thoughts amid bribery allegations

Following a video released by social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, on Tuesday, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has revealed that he is fighting suicidal thought, after recent allegations involving prison authorities and the EFCC.

Bobrisky in the viral video clip, admitted that officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) received fifteen million naira bribe from him to dismiss the money laundering charges levelled against him.

The video has since sparked heated reactions, throwing the popular cross dresser into the spotlight once again.

Despite the backlash, Bobrisky maintains that people’s efforts to tear others down have contributed to his distress, though he stopped short of directly addressing the bribery allegation in his recent comments.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Bobrisky debunked the viral recording as "fake," insisting that he did not pay any money to the anti-graft agency. He insisted that he served his full prison term and emphasized that he is not seeking sympathy but understanding and support.

But on Thursday, Bobrisky revealed his struggle with suicidal thoughts amid the bribery saga.

He wrote: “I have never in my life thought about suicide in my life but now is coming to my head seeing what human being are doing to their fellow human just in d name you want to bring them down by force or because you don’t like them.

“I don’t need no sympathy from anyone. People i might have needed sympathy from are my late parents. But who will fight for you? Friends? HATERS YOU WON.”
