Anthony Joshua lost the IBF title in 5th round

Daniel Dubois knocked out Anthony Joshua in the 5th round during their heavyweight boxing match for the IBF world title at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday, to retain the IBF world heavyweight title.

In the game dominated by the 27 years old Dubois in the early stages of the bout, Anthony Joshua was dropped multiple times.

Though Dubois was momentarily stunned by two right hands in the fifth round, the IBF champion piled on the 34-year-old Joshua couldn't maintain the momentum, as he was caught by successive right hands himself and he was down again, this time unable to beat the count.

Enjoying the show, Dubois said in huge cheers at Wembley, “Are you not entertained?

“I’m a gladiator. I am a warrior to the bitter end. I want to get to the top level of this sport and reach my potential.”

Dubois won the interim IBF title in June and was elevated to world champion status when Usyk vacated the belt.
