A deadly accident was reported along the Ojoo-Iwo Road near the Agbowo/Ajao area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital on Tuesday. Not less than 25 people are feared dead.
Reports from Oyo Affairs on Tuesday, has it that a trailer carrying roofing sheets collided with an 18-seater Hummer bus, a Micra taxi, and a Honda CR-V car, resulting in the loss of lives.
Some other passengers were rescued alive and rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Traffic congestion built up along the Ojoo-Iwo Road at the time of the accident, but officials from Federal Road Safety Corps and others moved swiftly to the scene and were able to ease the logjam.
