The Nigerian content creator Young C, who undertook a 24-hour challenge of being buried alive, has seen his Tick Tok account banned by the video-sharing company.
Young C has live streamed the whole duration of the challenge on his social media page, triggering dragging controversy.
While he completed the challenge, the video-sharing platform removed his account from the platform for supposedly endangering in a life-threatening act which according to Tik Tok, may encourage others to join.
A visit to his TikTok account showed that his profile is unavailable with a note stating, “Account banned. This account Youngcentertainment is no longer available.”
Through the stunt, Young C moved to relive a similar challenge undertaken by American YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) two years ago, who remained buried alive for 50 hours, to raise awareness about deforestation.
Recently, MrBeast attempted to surpass the 50 hours record by being buried in a coffin for seven consecutive days, facing physical and mental challenges before being unearthed.
