Shortly after Air Peace commenced Lagos-London flight services on March 30, the airline sold out tickets for its Lagos-London flights until September, underscoring the strong demand for the newly introduced route.

Allen Onyema, the Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading carrier made this revelation while speaking during an interview with Arise TV.
Onyema expressed satisfaction with the overwhelming response to the new route, highlighting that even the inaugural flight sold out within days of ticket availability, while disclosing that the airline owns a fleet of over 30 aircraft and has placed orders for an additional 33, bringing the total number of planned aircraft to over 60.
He expressed optimism about the prospects for Air Peace’s international operations, despite facing challenges in the past 48 hours.
He also highlighted the negotiation process with Gatwick Airport, which resulted in a reduction in the initial deposit requirement, enabling Air Peace to proceed with its Lagos-London operations.
As Air Peace continues to grow and innovate, its success in establishing the Lagos-London route underscores the airline’s pivotal role in advancing Nigeria’s aviation industry and connecting the country to global destinations.
